Kids Helping Kids, our community service book drive is about to come to an end with a great result. Thanks to your efforts, we have collected almost 5,000 children's books! Be sure to let us know if you have books that need to be picked up so we can add them to our count. We just learned today that the Ullom family and their friends collected 525 books so far. We'd like to recognize everyone for their efforts, so let us know.
In April, Mr. Irving Nelson will come from the Navajo Reservation in Window Rock, Arizona, to pick the books up and while he's here will present a program about the history of the Navajo Nation. As soon as we know what date he'll be here, that information will be posted on the 4-H Blogspot, so be sure to check back on a regular basis.
